The demand for local craft beers has exploded in recent years and Oldsmar has just jumped aboard!
Tampa, Florida-based The Brass Tap has opened its doors this week with dozens of beers, premium wines, and tasty food to serve. “We are proud to introduce The Brass Tap to Oldsmar,“ said owner Vik Patel. “Oldsmar is a great community and we’re excited to bring an upscale craft beer experience to our community.”
The 2,800-square-feet square foot upscale beer bar offers over 70 taps of beer and 250 import, domestic, and local beers in bottles and cans. At all times, more than a dozen of our taps are dedicated to serving Florida craft beers. The beer list will rotate, and the latest brews in house will be highlighted on the bar’s Facebook page. A selection of fine wines is also available.
Beer tastes better when accompanied by food which is why The Brass Tap will offer a small array of eats including paninis, prime rib sandwiches, prime rib nachos, flat breads, pizzas, and pretzels with beer cheese.
All servers at The Brass Tap will be well versed in assisting guests with selecting the best brews for their taste. Additionally, The Brass Tap app for iPhone and Android users is a handy way to turn your mobile device into a matchmaking service for introducing you to new craft beers based on brews you already love.
The Brass Tap will be hosting a Kentucky Derby party on May 3 which will feature a special Kentucky Bourbon Brown Ale on tap and visitors can win tickets to the local racetrack, Tampa Bay Downs. Each Friday throughout April, we will be serving an exclusive selection of Sierra Nevada beers and each pint wins a chance for two tickets to the Beer Camp Across America fest in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. The prize includes airfare, hotel and tickets to the event.
