New Orleans, Louisiana —

Dunkin’ Donuts is opening two more stores in the New Orleans area in November.

The Massachusetts-based chain cut the ribbon on a location in Kenner, at 2400 Veterans Blvd. on Friday. A grand opening is scheduled on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with free coffee for a year for the first 100 guests.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. It employs 20 workers. Vik Patel, CEO of Tampa, Florida-based Purple Square Management Company, is the franchisee.

Patel is also set to open a Dunkin’ Donuts in Chalmette on Nov. 17. It will be located at 8555 W. Judge Perez Drive.

Other Dunkin’ Donuts are located in Metairie, Kenner, Terrytown and Harvey, according to the company’s website.

In January, Dunkin’ Donuts announced plans to put up to 69 new restaurants in Louisiana. The company said it signed an agreement with Patel and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees to develop locations in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Monroe and Alexandria.
