Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen to open in Rockmart on Monday, April 29; hiring under way (50 jobs)
Rockmart, Georgia — Rockmart’s hot fast-food market cranks it up a few degrees — Cajun-style — on Monday, April 29 as Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen opens at 10 a.m. The restaurant, one of four under development in Northwest Georgia, will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.
Hiring is under way now through next week with 50 full-time and part-time posts to fill. Applicants can stop by the restaurant which was built on the site of the former Sonic on the north side of the highway near Ga. 101. Another option is to apply online via Indeed.com and type in Popeye’s and Rockmart in the city (click here). Positions sought include shift managers and crew members.
There’s been considerable interest in this location since the project was announced more than a year ago. It continues a streak of franchises arriving in Rockmart in recent years including Wendy’s, Chic-fil-A, Martin’s Restaurant, Captain D’s, Jefferson’s and Zaxby’s. All but Jefferson’s fronts U.S. 278 (some via access roads).
