PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Smalls Sliders, a mini-burger chain backed by former NFL quarterback Drew Brees, is set to open its first location in Pinellas County next week.
The burger chain operates out of shipping containers and will open a location in Clearwater at 2540 Gulf to Bay Boulevard. It’s located across from Sam’s Club, near the US-19 intersection.
It will open on Wednesday, May 21, at 10 a.m. The first 100 guests will receive a pair of Smorange™ slides, the chain announced.
“This marks our group’s first Smalls Sliders opening in Florida, and we’re thrilled to introduce residents to the unique flavors and cheeseburger sliders that make this brand so special,” said Vik Patel, local owner and CEO of Purple Square Management. “The support we’ve received leading up to this opening day has been incredible, and we look forward to becoming a go-to spot for great food and genuine connections.”

Purple Square Management said it has committed to opening at least nine Smalls Sliders Cans in Florida.
Smalls Sliders specializes in cook-to-order cheeseburger sliders. It also offers milkshakes and waffle fries.
