Smalls Sliders has signed its largest multi-unit agreement with existing franchisee Purple Square Management (PSM) for 22 units, dubbed “Cans” by the brand, for Arizona. It’s the first deal for Arizona and officially expanding to the West Coast, according to a press release.
“The growth of Smalls Sliders has reached incomparable new heights in such a short period, and we knew we wanted to be part of this momentum in a big way,” Vik Patel, CEO of PSM, said in the release. “We have always said that Smalls Sliders is a unique concept unlike anything out there and it has continued to validate that over the past year. We are honored to be a part of this team and officially kickstart its West Coast expansion.”
PSM aims to have the first unit open in the Phoenix market in mid-2025 and is actively exploring potential development site opportunities in the Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, Chandler, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Tempe areas.

Founded in 2006 by Vik and Sanjay Patel, PSM operates more than 250 franchise locations across the country. The deal for Phoenix is the third agreement the prominent organization has signed with Smalls Sliders, having previously signed to develop nine Cans in Tampa and six Cans in Atlanta.
Smalls Sliders has more than 180 Cans open or in development.
