St.Petersburg, Florida -Tyrone Square Mall has landed another tenant that will help set the retail center up as an entertainment and restaurant destination.
The mall announced Monday that it has signed The Brass Tap, a Tampa-based concept that focuses heavily on beer, between 70 craft brews on tap and more than 150 types of bottles and cans available. The “beer friendly menu,” as a news release calls it, offers traditional bar food with a twist — four-meat pretzel crust pizza, tempura chicken tenders and sweet chili shrimp, for example.
The bar also serves wine and liquor.
The Brass Tap is expected to open in late December or early January.
The Brass Tap is owned and operated by Tampa-based Beef ‘O’ Brady’s. It is in growth mode, with several new locations planned and renovations to existing stores in the works.
Last year, Tyrone Square signed a Cobb Luxury 10 Theatre, which is under construction and slated to open in early 2016. As retailers grapple with how to align their brick-and-mortar and e-commerce lines of business, shopping centers like Tyrone Square have had to adapt and bring in entertainment and dining concepts to draw a steady supply of foot traffic.
With The Brass Tap, Tyrone Square will have 16 restaurants.
